東大阪でオーダー家具製作、内装設計・施工、美容室の運営などを行なってきた木工工房「LAUGH」が、
クリエイティブディレクターにPANTALOONを迎え、2011年に立ち上げたオリジナル家具レーベル。
DESIGNTIDE TOKYO 2011にてファーストコレクションを発表後、
2012年5月に大阪・南堀江にショールーム/ショップをオープン。
セカンドコレクションにはPANTALOON、吉行良平と仕事、戸田 祐希利の3組のデザイナーを起用し、
人とモノとの関係性に視点を向けながら日常に寄り添うプロダクトを提案します。

The furniture label founded by wooden furniture maker LAUGH from Osaka Japan.
see-saw has started and presented own first collection in 2011 with direction PANTALOON,
and opened showroom/shop at Osaka in May 2012.
This 2nd collection shows with designers PANTALOON, Ryohei Yoshiyuki to job and Yukitoshi Toda to
create daily furnitures which sustain the relationship between  people and products.

日々の生活のなかで、人と人、人とモノの関係は絶えず変化しています。
一杯のコーヒーで休憩するとき。ひとつの椅子に二人で腰掛けるとき。
そういったささやかなことが私たちの生活を少しだけ豊かにします。
バランスをとりながら揺れ動くシーソーのように、
プロダクトを「関係性の支点として機能する道具」と捉えてみる。
そうすれば、いつも見慣れた関係やあたりまえの風景少し違って見えてくるかもしれません。
see-sawはそんなプロダクトのある風景を思い描き、提案していきます。

In everyday life, the relationships among people, 
as well as the one between people and things, are constantly changing. 
Such banal acts as having a coffee break or sharing a chair
with someone has the possibilities to enrich our lives.
Like the fulcrum of a see-saw that enables it to sway and balance,
products can work as a joint for relationships as well.
“see-saw” products help people to witness everyday life in a completely new light.
